Even though most people are aware of the health risks involved, they continue to eat sugar and heavily processed foods. Research indicates that sugar is not only fattening, but toxic too. It feeds cancer cells, affects hormonal balance, and causes premature aging.

Sugar consumption affects every aspect of your health. This harmful ingredient puts you at risk for cardiovascular disease even if you aren’t overweight. It also fuels the obesity epidemic, rots your teeth, and contributes to diabetes. Researchers have also linked sugar to a higher risk of thyroid disorders, adrenal fatigue, and impaired immune function.

Ditching the sugar from your diet can save your life. Seek healthier substitutes, such as stevia, applesauce, and cinnamon. The more sugar you eat, the more you’ll crave it. Train your taste buds to enjoy foods that are naturally sweet. Sugar contains nothing but empty calories that harm your health.
