Throw some quinoa on your plate with a piece of salmon, grilled chicken, or some black beans and you have yourself a filling, tasty dish that won’t pack on the pounds!
3. 1 Egg (78 calories)
An egg is just 78 calories! That’s almost ridiculously low considering how packed with nutrients it is, and how filling it can be with just 1 or 2 other items! 1 egg has 7 grams of high-quality protein, 5 grams of fat, and 1.6 grams of saturated fat, along with iron, vitamins, minerals, and carotenoids, and also contains disease-fighting nutrients like lutein and zeaxanthin.
4. 1 Cup of Veggie Soup (90 calories)
A cup of veggie soup is only 90 calories. It will pair great with a salad, a side of protein, or some whole grain toast.
5. 2 1/2 ounce of Salmon (99 calories)
This one barely makes the cut.
Salmon is a great source of protein, is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and high in B vitamins, making it an excellent choice for a healthy diet.
