Review: GymRa, A Private Training Website

Changing the way fitness is done in 2013, GymRa, the new online personal training website has just launched, offering consumers an innovative way to easily create and incorporate unique workout programs into their fitness regime, anytime, anywhere. Developed by Paula McKee, a workout enthusiast and mother of three, GymRa offers a breakthrough workout technology to accommodate the digital generation.

I have been an avid exerciser for many years but most specifically using exercise DVDs to get my workout in. Recently I decided to train for a physique competition. I went from working out to training with a specific goal in mind. What’s the difference? Well, for me, working out was for obvious health and cardiovascular benefits. Training, however, focuses more specifically on a goal. With the help of a trainer my workout programs were specifically designed for me and my goals. No more workout DVDs for me. What I found hardest about training for the competition was following a paper workout program. I missed the guided workout that an exercise DVD provided.

That is why I love Gymra.com! It takes what I love about exercise DVDs – exercising in a follow along format – and allows me to create my own workouts based on my specific training goals. Featuring more than 1,500 videos and an easy-to-use interface the user can create and personalize their workout according to their goals and preferences. Personalized workouts are easily created with GymRa’s Workout Generator by selecting from the following categories:

Muscles – offering you the option to customize a total body workout using the all muscles option, target a specific area such as back, glutes, or core, among others, or choose multiple muscle groups,

Equipment – ranging from no equipment to select fitness accessories such as a bosu ball or dumbbells

Workout type – customize your workout to include dance, yoga, Pilates, stretching, or cool down

Level – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced fitness levels are availale

Workout Time – ranging from 15, 30, 45, to 60 minutes

Fitness Trainers – with a selection of more than 20 male and female trainers to choose from.

And, GymRa is easy to use. Simply customize your workout by dragging and dropping select video clips to create your personal workout. You can also save your workouts for future use. With Gymra you can personalize workouts by adding music or access them on mobile devices with internet access. GymRa also includes an 8-week Challenge for members, with effective programs designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced fitness levels, offering weeks of exercises. You will also find valuable nutrition, fitness, and general wellness content on their site to round out your healthy lifestyle..
