It’s no secret that millennials can’t resist sparkling water. Hint: LaCroix, Perrier, Poland Spring – everyone has a favorite brand and flavor that they swear by. Sparkling water is a perfect alternative for sodas. They’re full of fizz and flavor, but contain no added sugars, chemicals, fruit juices or unnecessary calories.

Lately it seems that there’s a new brand on the fizzy water scene almost everyday. The latest brand to make waves in the carbonated water space is PepsiCo’s, bubly. Playfully branded with a bright, cheery, colorful cans and a logo written in all lowercase letters, bubly claims that it’s breaking all the rules when it comes to sparkling beverages. Todd Kaplan Vice President, Water Portfolio – PepsiCo North America Beverages states, “We created bubly to provide consumers with a great-tasting, flavorful, unsweetened sparkling water in a fun, playful, and relevant manner that is unlike anything we’ve seen in the sparkling water category today.” According to the bubly press release, this is such a momentous release for the company because it’s one of the biggest launches of its kind.

The beverage boasts no artificial flavors and zero added sugars – making it heady competition for brands like LaCroix who are dominating in the sparkling water market. The line includes six flavors with amusing names like applebubly, cherrybubly, and limebubly, and the cans have adorable features like silly smiles and whimsical mustaches. The tabs on top also feature charming conversational messages such as, “Oh, hi” and “Hold hands with me”.

On February 26th, millennials can look forward to tasting this new sparkling beverage for themselves! Happy sipping!
