Within the next few weeks, you can expect new Tabata and Yoga programs, and more dance, HIIT, and strength training workouts. We will be releasing 3 new workouts per week.

The Raw Deal
We all know that real, whole foods are the way to wellness, but what about raw foods? Fruits and veggies are often eaten raw on their own as snacks without a second thought, but have you ever considered creating an entire meal out of raw food?
While it may be difficult for most people to maintain an entirely raw diet, incorporating more raw meals into your life can vastly improve your energy levels, mental focus, and overall mood.
Enzymes, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, protein, essential fats and fiber are the building blocks your body needs to function properly. Cooking food can destroy some of these essential nutrients, which is why it’s important to include raw food in your diet.
It may seem difficult at first, but once you make it a habit, you’ll see that it’s simple AND satisfying!
To start, try this refreshing noodle dish that will impress even the biggest pasta lover:
Raw Zucchini Pasta with Creamy Avocado-Cucumber Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
Zucchini Pasta
1 large zucchini (1 per person)
grape, cherry or mini heirloom tomatoes, halved
jalapeno, thinly sliced and seeds removed (optional)
arugula
pea shoots (optional)
zest of one meyer lemon or regular lemon
Avocado-Cucumber Puree
1 medium avocado
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced thick
a few large leaves of basil (optional)
1 meyer lemon or regular lemon, juice of
2 garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon white pepper or black pepper to taste
salt to taste
PREPARATION:
Prepare your zucchini noodles julienne style or spiralized. Or alternately, cook your pasta of choice, about 8 ounces.
For the puree, place all ingredients into a food processor/blender and process until creamy.
Taste for flavor adding anything extra you might like.
Toss zucchini pasta with avocado-cucumber puree and a handful of arugula.
Serve with tomatoes, peas shoots, jalapenos, lemon zest, lemon wedges and fresh cracked pepper.
