Follow These 10 Simple Tips to Help You Work Out Every Day

Working out is an important part of any weight loss plan. If you’ve set a goal for yourself to workout everyday but you just can’t seem to get yourself to the gym, try one of these easy tips to help you prioritize working out every day!

Workout In The Morning

Getting your workout done and over with first thing in the morning will free up the rest of your day! By getting your workout out of the way, you won’t have to worry about it later on in the day when you might not have the energy.

Sleep In Your Workout Clothes

It may sound silly, but one of the best ways to motivate yourself to workout first thing in the morning is to sleep in your workout clothes! If you’re already in your workout attire you’ll be more likely to go to the gym, go for a quick run, or set aside time for a fun workout at home.

Try Working Out During Lunch

If you’re the type of person who loves to sleep in, or looks forward to unwinding after work, chances are you’re not going to make the time to work out before or after work. Try making the most of your lunch break with a workout!

Start With A Short Workout

It’s okay to do a short workout! You don’t have to force yourself into a grueling hour long workout. Give yourself 15 minutes with a high intensity, fat burning workout!

Plan Ahead

On Sunday night, whip out your calendar and schedule a few workout dates with yourself during the week! Go for a run on Monday, lift on Wednesday, take a spin class on Thursday, and head to hot yoga on Friday. However you choose to schedule your workouts, you’ll have a better chance of sticking to them by planning out your sweat sessions at the beginning of the week.

Prep Your Gym Bag

Pack your workout bag each night with all the essentials you’ll need. Pack your water bottle, towel, deodorant, toiletries, a snack, and your workout so that you’ll be fully prepared! You’ll be much more likely to head to the gym if you can grab everything you need and go!

Pay In Advance

Studies have shown that paying for your workout ahead of time (and facing a late cancellation, or no-show fee) pays off! Paying in advance for your workout will keep you committed when you’ve already paid for a $20-or more- class.

Set A Reminder

Not only will a fitness reminder help you get up and get moving, it will also serve as motivation for those days when you’d rather hang out at home. Set a reminder with a motivational quote like, “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.”, “You don’t get the ass you want by sitting on it” or “Sore today, strong tomorrow” to get you moving!

Find A Buddy

Dragging yourself to the gym can be tough. Find a friend who loves to workout or a friend who shares your goals. It’s also helpful to have an accountability partner who will help you stay committed to your goals.

Share It On Social Media

Share your progress on social media! You may receive tons of positive feedback, encouragement and inspiration from others! Posting on social media may also help you find motivation and fitness tips for those days when you’d rather hang out on the couch.
